- The application site and all land needed to carry out the development
- A continuous red line around the application site
- A blue line around other nearby land in the applicant’s ownership
- At least enough surrounding context to locate the site, often including named roads
- A north arrow, scale bar and standard paper size
- Correctly licensed, current mapping
Quick check: if the plan is printed at the stated paper size, it must still measure accurately at its stated scale.
